How to get to the AASAP space Heading link

The Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) is located in the Student Services Building (SSB) at 1200 West Harrison St., Chicago, Illinois 60607, in room 2720 at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC). All directions shared in this explanation start through the entrance door between Harrison and Racine Street.

 

Option 1: Elevator

Once you enter the building, make a right where you will see the 1 East Elevators. Take the elevator to the second floor by pressing the button labeled “2”. You are now in the 2 East Elevator. Make a sharp right, passing by offices on the wall to your right, like the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) and the African American Academic Network (AAAN, also known as triple AN). Walking straight past AAAN, you will see the Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) office in room 2720 on the right-facing wall between the Native American Student Program (NASP) and AAAN.

 

Option 2: Elevator

Once you enter the building, make a right where you will see the 1 South Elevator right away. Enter the elevator and press the 2R button to head to the second floor. Head straight and pass by the African American Academic Network (AAAN, also known as triple AN), and make a left straight towards the Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) office in room 2720 on the right-facing wall in between the Native American Student Program (NASP) and AAAN.

 

Option 3: Ramp

Once you enter the building, make a right and keep walking straight until you see the Registrar sign and the ramp. Follow the ramp up, passing the 1 South sign, where you will pass by some trees and the Office of Student Success and Belonging (OSSB), and continue to head up the stairs, where you will see the Visitor Center. Make a sharp left up to 2 North, where you will see the Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) office in room 2720 on the right-facing wall in between the Native American Student Program (NASP) and AAAN.

 

Option 4: Stairs

Once you enter the building, head straight to the stairs, take the stairs up to the second floor until you see the 2 North sign on the right side of the wall. Head straight and pass by the African American Academic Network (AAAN, also known as triple AN), and make a left straight towards the Asian American Student Academic Program (AASAP) office in room 2720 on the right-facing wall in between the Native American Student Program (NASP) and AAAN.
