Textbook Library

AASAP has a textbook library! We are providing a limited number of textbooks to students who may need support accessing reading materials for class. At this time, the program is focused mostly on undergraduates.

If you need support with textbooks, we will try our best to acquire it for you. Fill out the form below, and we’ll be in touch. If your textbook request is urgent, please email aasap@uic.edu.

Enter the name of the class the textbook is used for.
Please include a link to the textbook from the UIC Bookstore website.
Click "yes" if you are interested in getting weekly AASAP newsletters.

This program is supported by the U.S. Department of Education’s Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions initiative.

If you have any questions about the program, take a look at our Q&A or reach out to us.

Q&A

Q: Do I need to prove that I cannot access the textbook for my class?

A: No.

Q: How long can I keep my textbook?

A: We ask that you return your textbook during the final week of each semester, and treat it gently as we are sharing resources.

Q: I have a textbook I no longer have a use for. Can I donate it to AASAP?

A: Of course! We are hoping to expand the textbook library as a long-term goal. You can drop off current, gently used textbooks at AASAP’s office in 2720 Student Services Building on Mondays-Fridays between 9 am and 5 pm.
