AASAP develops and implements academic support initiatives for the UIC Asian American student population to enhance transition from high school, assists students in acclimating to college learning strategies, and promotes access, academic achievement, social integration, persistence, and graduation of Asian American students. We provide academic advising, financial management and career exploration programming, mentorship, and support 1-credit Global Asian Studies seminars focusing on career development, financial literacy, and life skills.
