Presented in collaboration with AARCC, AASAP hosted a “Crafting Corner: Mending” event where students learned basic sewing skills while discussing their cultural and familial connections to garments.

AASAP hosted a “Budget-Friendly Meal Prep” event where students explored how to make culturally-relevant foods on a budget. Attendees made their own noodle bowls with labeled cost-for-serving ingredients.

AASAP hosted “Planning for the Holidays: Financial Boundary Setting,” engaging students in a conversation about gifting and celebrations within the context of BIPOC immigrant and refugee communities. Students made DIY bath scrubs to take home or gift.
